Privacy Policy — PDF Toolkit Bot
Last updated: September 2026
PDF Toolkit (@PDFSmithBot, "the Bot") is operated by Corventia
("we", "us"). The Bot performs PDF operations — compress, merge, split, rotate, images to
PDF — inside Telegram. This policy describes what data the Bot processes and why.
Your files
- Files you send are downloaded from Telegram, processed entirely in
memory, and the result is sent back to you.
- We never store your files. Most operations run purely in memory;
compression hands the file to Ghostscript through a temporary folder that lives
in RAM only (never on persistent storage). Everything is discarded the moment
the operation finishes.
- We do not read, analyze or index the contents of your documents beyond what
the requested operation requires (e.g. counting pages).
What we do store
- A small usage record keyed by your numeric Telegram user ID: your
client language code, first and last use, daily and lifetime operation counts,
purchased passes (expiry time and Telegram's charge identifier, kept so we can
process refunds) and, if you arrived through an invite link, the ID of the user
who invited you. Nothing else — no names, no usernames, no message history, no
file names.
Payments
Paid passes are processed by Telegram Stars. Payment is handled
entirely by Telegram; we never receive or see payment credentials. We only receive
confirmation that a purchase succeeded and its charge identifier, to activate
your pass and to be able to refund it.
Third parties
Files transit through Telegram's Bot API infrastructure (Telegram's own privacy
policy applies to that transport). We do not sell data and we do not share
anything with any other third party.
Data deletion
Files: nothing to delete — they are never stored. To remove your usage counter,
contact us with your Telegram user ID and we will erase it within 30 days.
